1″ Mechanical Lock

Mechanical lock is a very dynamic panel system. This panel can be formed into a radius curvature and provides the highest level of protection against wind and moisture that a Standing Seam can offer.

This hidden fastener panel is manufactured in a 1″ seam height. It is available in widths of 17” & 21”. The width is dependent upon the height of the seam that is determined for the job. (Panel widths may vary due to coil size and material thickness).

Minimum Slope Requirements:

*Hot melt required below 3:12

Screw Application:

Fastener Spacing: 12″ to 24″, refer to engineering specifications for proper clip spacing and substrate specifications.

Roof Applications:

1″ Mechanical Lock can be installed on solid wood decking. Standing seam metal roofing can be used in conjunction with exposed fastener trim pieces or trim that is designed to reduce/eliminate the need for exposed fasteners on the roofing surface. This designation must be made prior to production.
